Entertainment Creative Writing Degree Programs
There aren’t a lot of schools in existence that offer creative writing degrees with an entertainment emphasis. Most of the colleges you may go through are going to be arts schools of some sort, and they will have a plethora of degrees related to the entertainment industry. If you find that creative writing isn’t the right pursuit for you, one of the other programs in these schools may fit your overall goals in life. If you decide to go through with your degree, you will be able to work in a number of careers. Some of the most popular ones include:

Entertainment writers tend to make more than novelists and journalists because the entertainment industry itself makes so much money. Keep that in mind before you start learning how to become a journalist. Possible pay rates may include:

• Less than 1 year of experience: $5.21 – $19.67 per hour
• 1-4 years of experience: $10.00 – $25.13 per hour
• 5-9 years of experience: $9.98 – $26.55 per hour
• 10-19 years of experience: $12.60 – $40.27 per hour
• 20 years of experience or more: $13.09 – $35.01 per hour
